The bridge connecting Ryrie Street with Micalago Road has been officially opened. The Hon Kristy McBain, Minister for Regional Development, cut the ribbon on Sunday 13 October 2024. Michelago’s recently re-elected SMRC Councillors Tanya Higgins and John Rooney with Narelle Davis, a re-elected Councillor from Cooma, also officiated to declare the bridge open. There were thanks to all who have made the bridge happen: Brent Wallis, John, Tanya, Emily Green and the MRCA.
